The Tuesday Walks

One of my top blessings since moving here was to join in with other TIS Moms on their Tuesday Walks.
Thank you so much Sam for inviting me to be a part of it, and thank you Yumi for all the planning that goes into it.

We have been able to enjoy wonderful long walks on our way to see many sights throughout the Tokyo Area.  We visit beautiful shrines, and our Japanese friends involved are able to help us understand the stories behind them and the history that goes with it.  Some of the most memorable walks for me have included the day we walked over the Rainbow Bridge, and  the visit to Yokohama and the China Town there.  Oh, and just before the holiday we made another great stop to the Eno Spa.  It is on a tiny island which you can walk to, and the Spa is totally gorgeous and overlooks all of the beautiful sights around it.

Another great highlight of the day is dining at local hot spots for lunch, and the girls always know just what to order!   It is a great bunch of women all with their own story and background, and each week I enjoy getting to know them better!
